Wild Honey


Pictured above is one of the wild hives that Adam was plotting to capture.

Here is Sierra holding the bee vacuum that Adam rigged up. He took his pal Jeremy and they spent over 2 hours trying to vacuum out bees. Apparently, there was not enough suction so it was impossible to pull out more than a few unfortunate bees. He did bring home some honeycomb and we put it in cheesecloth and squeezed out all the honey (pictured below).


This is a giant pot of honeycomb that I hope to one day melt down and turn into beauty products like lip balm that I can sell at farmers' markets. I'm going to have to get a hippie outfit too.
